Hi my name is Jan!
Welcome to my page! I am an Audio Programmer and Sound Designer/Composer.
In 2023, I had the privilege of taking part in Dare Academy, a competition for students at Abertay University. We, a team of 2 people, developed a game with the title "Book of Abominations", an Eldridge inspired monster collecting RPG, and we won all 4 awards! Still can't believe it at times.
Since then, we have formed a company (Studio Catloaf for anyone who's curious), expanded the team and are working hard on completing the game seeing that it was so well received!
In 2024, another team from Dare Academy 2023 + 2 other amazing students from the same cohort joined forces for our Professional Project in year 3! We built the game "Sustain" based off of a prompt our clients, Modern Wolf, had provided us with. The prompt was, in condenced form, a 5 minutes gameloop with meta progression. Therefore we made a tower defence game. The game did so well that it ended up being showcased at the 2024 Abetay Digital Graduate Showcase!
This account isn't much of a "Best work" portfolio but rather a place to keep former collaborations in one place to see where I started and where I am now as a Game Developer =)
